Hello, Reader, π
Welcome to another issue of the Visual Storytelling Mastery Newsletter.
I often like to challenge myself by creating two versions of a project when I work with clients, if time allows.
β
The first version is the safe and predictable one, meeting all the client's expectations.
β
But then there is the second version, where I step out of my comfort zone and let my creativity run wild.
This is the "what if" version.
β
The one where the imagination takes the reins and gallops at full speed, veering off the beaten path and diving headfirst into the domain of the 'unconventional.'
β
It is about pushing your creativity to its limits and experimenting with new techniques, untested waters, and bold ideas.
β
It is like a jolt of adrenaline for your creative process - a high-octane fuel that ignites our brain and sparks fresh perspectives.
There is something incredibly exhilarating about pushing our boundaries.
β
If we want to take it even further, show the unconventional version to the client.
β
You never know they might love it and feel the same rush of excitement.
β
I also want to give a shoutout to Josh Bodnar for teaching me this valuable lesson.
If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to reach out.
β
I personally read every email and look forward to hearing from you. Your thoughts and ideas are always welcome!
β
Thank you, and I hope you have a fantastic day!

It became clear that this person struggled to maintain...
Hello, Reader, π Regarding editing, especially for luxury brands, less is always more. The focus should be on the product and the message. It uses simple, subtle graphics, clean transitions like soft cuts and dissolves, and minimal animations. We want to enhance the message, tell a story, and showcase the product without distraction. Keeping the editing style clean and minimalistic allows the audience to engage fully with the luxury brand's offerings. It creates a sense of sophistication and...
Hello, Reader, π A while back, I had an experience with a client that taught me a valuable lesson about communication. The project started smoothly, I was confident in my work and according to the contract, I had fulfilled my promise. However, there was a catch: the raw footage provided by the client was of poor quality. I noticed it but assumed the client knew and I did not mention it. After completing the project, the client was not thrilled with the final result. They felt I should have...
